Hi, I'm trying to get it to work on Steam Deck but it gives a Gamemaker Fatal Error. I don't have a Windows PC right now so yeah.
It starts up the game, shows intro logo, plays music and then goes into this error.
It says; FATAL ERROR in Fragment Shader Compilation ShaderName: shader_pal_swapper memory:130:3: E5017: Aborting due to not yet implemented feature: Instruction type HLSL_IR_LOOP.
at gml_Script_pal_swap_set stack frame is gml_Script_pal_swap_set (line -1) gml_Object_obj_mainmenu_wall_Draw_0
The shader that is responsible for swapping drawing colors is causing error for some reason. Sorry, I never had any experience working with Steam Deck, so won't be able to help with that.
Very excited for news about the full paid release. Can you tell us which platforms and release dates? (Assuming the world doesn't end in nuclear fire by then, haha)
Hey GuroGuru. There are several elements designed to create blood and gore effects. First, most of the enemies have separate image sets for low health state. Then, there are several particle type simulating blood when enemy is hit. Also hitting enemies spawn few special "blood drops" objects which on contact with a solid surface (wall / floor / ceiling) create a small permanent image of blood smudge. When enemy is killed, it creates a corresponding body object, for example, human body is used for all humanoid enemies. There are several types of body objects that can produce different effects. In general, body can randomly either play death animation from a list or explode into objects representing chunks of meat, skull and bones. After death animation is played, the body object creates permanent image of remains. The meat chunks can also create permanent images on collision with a solid surface or create a small bloody particle "explosion". That's it in general. If you want to know the details, feel free to ask.
Since the game is currently in development, only approximate release window is set for now. The exact release date and will be announced closer to release.

I thought I'd share this image. Minimal context as to avoid spoilers: This is using the Blazing Orb, drop of wrath, wrath seal(?), and two filler slots on version 1.1.0. I think this was still possible in previous versions, and I never had to spend wrath on healing, but it's still funny. Not sure if it should be patched out since it took player skill to get to this point of absurd.

Видел обзор Нубилиуса, на обе части? Говорит, у игры есть коммерческий потенциал. Там у тебя конечно Какодемоны патентованные, но я думаю стоит создать к игре еще дополнительно генератор уровней с редактором, и тогда можно будет о чем-то говорить в плане ее продажи. Готов участвовать.
I only managed to beat it by four minutes. It took a long time to properly plan out and perfect the route, and dying even once meant that it was a hopeless attempt.

It'll be on Steam for sure, the rest depends on publisher and initial game sales.
Release is scheduled for early next year.

Конечно, нет надобности, чтобы ваш фильтр выгладил так экстремально.
Я тоже был бы рад увидеть игру на всех возможных платформах, но это будет зависеть от издателя. :)
Персонально не являюсь поклонником CRT фильтров, но любой желающий может использовать внешний фильтр на подобие ShaderGlass.
